Podley Properties does not make any recommendations regarding the choice of an inspection company. We do strongly recommend that an inspection be performed, to verify the condition of the home that you are purchasing. We also recommend that you make inquiries of any inspector you contact as to his errors and omissions insurance coverage, whether or not he has a contractor’s license and if he is a member of ASHI or CREA (which are professional associations for home inspectors).The approximate cost ranges from $250.00 to $600.00 depending upon the age and square footage of the home inspected.
